Who We Are

The Beginning of Soultrace
Soultrace was founded by two sisters, Mei and Lina—Asian American women whose lives have been shaped by both Eastern heritage and Western experience.
Born and raised in California to parents from Taiwan and Malaysia, their childhood summers were filled with quiet rituals and sacred traditions. They remember helping their grandmother place rose quartz in the corners of the home for harmony, watching incense curl into the air, and hearing elders speak about energy, balance, and the invisible forces that guide us. These simple but powerful moments planted the seeds of something deeper.
The Power of Quiet Rituals
As adults, Mei built a career in business consulting while Lina worked in the fashion industry. From the outside, things looked successful. But slowly, cracks began to show. Lina began experiencing burnout—sleepless nights, emotional exhaustion, and the haunting feeling that her smile no longer reached her soul. Mei, meanwhile, faced a sudden personal loss during the pandemic that forced her to confront long-ignored emotional fatigue and grief. They were both functioning—but disconnected from themselves.
In their lowest moments, they instinctively turned back to what once brought them comfort: crystals, intentional space, and quiet rituals. As they began placing stones around their homes and resetting their environments, they noticed a subtle shift—more calm, more clarity, and a sense of returning to themselves.
That was the turning point.
They realized that while crystals had become trendy in the West, much of their depth, purpose, and cultural meaning had been stripped away. Soultrace was created to bridge that gap—to honor the spiritual roots of Asian crystal traditions while making them accessible and meaningful for modern lives.
Every stone offered through Soultrace is ethically sourced, energetically cleansed, and shared with guidance that blends traditional wisdom and practical modern use. From black tourmaline at your front door to citrine by your desk, these aren’t just beautiful objects—they are gentle reminders of intention, energy, and self-connection.
“We don’t believe crystals change your life.
We believe they help you hear yourself more clearly.”
— Mei & Lina, Co-Founders of Soultrace
